"What class would you like to take? What are you interested in?" These are the questions I was asked as a teenager that sparked my interest in photography. I joined the school newspaper as a photographer, and that was the best choice I ever made in my life!
Since then i've worked with models, artists, musicians, and designers. My passion is to become better at portraying my own vision of natural beauty, and to one day have my photos in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar magazines and even to run my own studio. I love what I do, no questions asked, and will continue doing it because nothing can stop me.

Michael Obando is a professional Fashion Photographer with over 5 years experience, based in Los Angeles, California, that incorporates his unique style into all photography genres. His photography captures the essence of the subject, whether it be a model, product, event, or scenery. Driven by a fire passion for beauty, he creates captivating images from split second moments that will never happen again, but have left their mark in each shot.
Sessions are held in either studio and/or locations around the lively Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and more. Using his advanced skills in both studio and natural lighting, and a wide variety of cameras and lenses, he tailors each shoot to the subjects individual needs. He enjoys planning and handling each step of the photo session, and offers direction as needed before and during a shoot.
